A picture is worth a 1000 bits of information
In the midst of the information age, keeping track of it all can be very difficult to do, whether it’s on paper or in our heads. Well, journalist David McCandless has come up with something beautiful: infographs. These are visual representations of information, revealing hidden patterns and grouping different sets of information in ways that couldn’t be possible without his colorful pictures. McCandless’ work can be found at www.informationisbeautiful.net (as well as his two books. They are picture books for intelligent adults. A must buy). And be inspired with his recent
TED talk.
