Thanks so much for the write-up. I just wanted to add, what makes our matching system different from job boards is that we use radio buttons, not keywords, like online dating, to get an exact match, not something that "comes close".

Thank you Akshaya, for your thoughtful review.

To your question "What we are skeptical about is wether the end businesses care enough about online media to sign up for such a service since blogs are essentially free to use media for PR agencies."

Yes, it's hard to change behavior, but if a lot of publishers will join Publishedin we can start a movement that businesses can not ignore anymore.

"..blogs as a group is equally powerful and more powerful than Facebook and Twitter." Fred Wilson, partner at Union Square Ventures. June 28, 2009

It is amazing on how may "new" ideas have been done before. Twitter. Isn't that billboard or chat rooms, or IM, or texting update for new technology. It is hitting the same nail with a better more modern hammer. Maybe Gen Y is right and it is the new trend, maybe Gen X is right and its been done before, let's see what is popular in five years.
Gen Y is focusing on entrepreneurship and I hope that goes well but they will really need to start focusing on the unfun part of it. What kill most start-up? Cash burn rate. You can only beg, borrow, steal so much money to launch you idea and if you company leaks money like a seive because you neglect those small annoying expenses, deadlines, cost-over runs, you company crashes before it takes off or can't grow when you need to and some other entrepreneur buys you out for pennies because they made it and you didn't.

The problem is that Nokia is currently in a state of unrest. Meego was shelved, it lost market share in every segment and the CEO doesn't think Symbian is relevant any more. In such a situation this move seems to be a desperate one. It doesn't help matters when the current Nokia CEO is a MS veteran himself. All this in perspective, Nokia is not making a push to make things better. It's lost its "niche".
