The sweet-spot for defining Gen X being lets say 1970; I pretty much represent the average Gen X. I have to say, in my opinion Gen Xers are on the cutting edge of Social Media. I would suggest that the Boadroom Dinosaurs you describe are the tail end of the Baby Boomers, who, as you say, have no idea how to capitalise on these new trends.
I thought about tweeting this to make a point, but I hate Twitter - not that I couldn't think of creative ways to capitalise on it's social pull.

If there are any law enforcement agencies interested in experimenting with this type of project with their own data - please get in touch with us. If you can provide the data in Excel form, in a format as specified on our website (see www.11AntsAnalytics.com ) we will be happy to attempt to build the predictive model(s) required, or alternatively,if releasing the data is not straightforward, we will be happy to give you an evaluation license to 11Ants Model Builder, which will enable you to do this yourself. If you a) have the data and b) can use Excel - you should certainly be able to replicate this. This is very interesting to us. Thanks.

I will ship it to you if you want as soon as its available. But the problem is with the Indian govt. delivering on its hi-tech "promises". Turns out that the bill of materials is about $47. I am really looking forward to see how the product will be DELIVERED at $35.

yup, electricity is not green as long as you are burning coal and oil to produce it. Hopefully solar and wind energies will make enough inroads into mainstream energy markets to trump "unclean" energy in the coming years.

Great point shells! That's just one part of the problem though. Entrepreneurship is not a "suggested career" in India. Religious and cultural backgrounds bring with them a diverse set of taboos and superstitions which keep a check on improvement as well. The mentality is very different compared to the western world. Risk taking is not in the Indian "blood".

It's not that Indian society is too "merciless". It's that India does not have a free economy or society. For example, opening a new business in India takes the better part of a year, on average. Compare that to Hong Kong, where the per-capita income is higher than even in the USA. It takes just an hour or two to open a business there. The freer the economy, the better the country is. No wonder Indians who want to make fortunes move out.
