Going mainstream with 3D printing to “create” objects of everyday use is a growing trend, it seems. Inc.com has fished out one such example – 3D printed shoes! Desktop Factory, a South Carlina based technology company has developed and is now selling a desktop 3D printing system which can be had for $4995. The company also claims that its “3D prints” are durable thanks to the technology it uses. The system can take all industry standard 3D formats as input and deliver a actual 3D product on your desktop.
