Music could mean a lot of things but music videos may skew your POV. However, there is music video that puts across its lyrics quite literally – through everyday pictures and words. Paper cutouts and dictionaries, magazines and posters – whatever it may take to let the meaning of the song be what the listener wants it to be.
The music video of the song – “Sweeth Heart” by The Wave Pictures is directed by Ben Read and uses second hand books to accomplish its task of putting the “lyrics” across, leaving the listener to be the thinker. Video after the break. Watch it in HD for full literal pleasure.
